I need fast money because i need to buy a new bat for baseball. since it is February i can’t mow lawns and i can’t shovel snow ( it didn’t snow this year for me) i am only 13.

I had a thought the other day, why not change the Major League Soccer schedule to later in the year, after leagues like Champions League is over. This would give international players the chance to play here in the offseason; (kind of like winter ball in baseball.) I mean players always need to stay fit. Vladimir Guerrero does it for MLB, whay can’t other sport athletes?

My son enjoys playing soccer and baseball with his other brothers and cousins. He’s said he wants to try out next fall for soccer, and in the winter for baseball. He seems quite nervous about it all and how the other kids will judge his playing. He doesn’t play poorly, however I’ve noticed he does get uptight when the cousins bring friends he’s never met to play the sports.

Since there is a cap on the number of sports that can be in the Olympics, and the summer seems to have an abundance of events, couldn’t they move some summer sports to winter?

Moving some events would allow them to consider reinstating baseball and softball, but also adding other events, like American football, rugby, cricket, karate, reinstating tug-of-war, etc.
Many are indoor, so table tennis, boxing, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, and taekwondo could be moved easily. Gymnastics could also be moved, but I think it’s a major part of the summer games, so I wouldn’t want that.

I play golf in the fall
Basketball in the winter
and baseball in the spring
I dont like baseball at all and have been told by the local pro’s at my home course that i have a definate chance of going to at least Division 2 golf college……..What should i do?

Baseball is my favorite time of the year, for many reasons.

First, it pulls me out of the nastiness that is winter in the northeast.

Second, it reminds me of dirty water dogs at the stadium, and cheering and believing in something that is way beyond my control, but yet I feel as though my voice and my faith makes a difference.

Third, my grandfather was a yankee fan, who passed it to my dad, who passed it to me. We go to several games a year together and it is my favorite thing in the world!

Isn’t basketball a summer sport? So why does the NBA have their season during the winter months? Hockey is a cold weather sport so it is played in the winter, football is played in the fall to experience the warm and cold weather and baseball is a summer sport played in the summer.

Does my logic make sense to anybody else?
