I think that after Labor day, the playoff should begin,…and the World Series should be done by the last week in September! Enough already! Let’s make room for the football season to begin & be over before it get too cold! Tailgating is not as much fun in cold weather! Then Basketball season can be nice and cosey for long Winter evenings! And be done by March Madness,…then we can start all over with Baseball again! Now doesn’t this sound like life as it is suppose to be???

I’m playing baseball this year and I wanna be a huge improvement from last year so I wanna train all through winter. Any good drills I could do. INdoors preferrably but give me some outdoor drills too for the spring.

I recently moved to the Phoenix area in Arizona. I have a big question. I used to live in the Midwest. As you would probably know there is very short summers and long and cold winters. The baseball talent up there was okay but to find the real stars you would have to find kids like Kevyn Feiner from Sun Prairie,WI. That kid worked his butt off and commited him self to baseball. He was a great athlete. He played football too. He had an indoor batting cage and some other little things. Kevyn is now playing for the Dayton Dragons (Minor Leagues). My point is, to be looked at in the Midwest, you have to be a star. Which means you either have to be blessed with natural talent, and or you need to be 110% committed to finding a way to work out in the cold winter. And when I lived in WI I can’t say that was an easy thing to do.

Since I’ve moved to Phoenix, I’ve found that there really is a lot of talent. But I know why. These kids can play baseball or any sport for that matter almost 10 – 11 months out of the year. I’ve obviously realize the talent in the Southern States is probably a lot better in almost any sport. Except for the indoor sports you can do anywhere in the world like basketball,hockey, etc. Since I’m only in High School, It would take loads of money to start building domes all over the midwest for baseball players to have a place to play.

My “BIG” dream is to become a major league baseball player just like any other kid who loves sports. So my question is, what percentage of Major League Baseball Players come from The south. Even better, what percent of Major League Baseball Players come from ARIZONA. I will do that math if you can lead me to a good source. Links, Ideas, what ever works. i’m just trying to see whats good! Thank YOU!
I’m just curious, i know my odds of playing at the professional level are very slim. But what are the stats on how many kids come out of the south or az?

After seeing the Phillies won the World Series (Rays got what they deserve), it got me thinking that during the off season i should start training for tryouts for my high school baseball team. Any good tips on how to get in shape for baseball season?

FYI I live in Illinois so there is a winter were I live.

its a green hat beenie on top with the hartford whalers logo on the front. its a winter knit hat . not a baseball cap .

I have an albino dwarf hamster. Every time I put my hand in his cage even to feed him he attacks me. He bats his paws at me and bites my hand. Please help me.

I am looking for funding to put a game room ardkade maybe put-put things for our kids in my home town. I would like games and prizes in it for all ages. This is what I am wanting. A few bowling lanes. lots of different kind of games. ones you can ride and ones you can win things with by using the token or sliding the card method. I think laszer tag would be nice. A batting cage would be great. i would like to put in a snak bar too.

Does anyone know of a really good wood bat under 30 bucks? I had a Rawlings Big Stick but it broke after about a month of use in my batting cage. I need a good, durable wood bat. (I need a 34 in bat)
