backyard batting cage
i am a minor league baseball player and i am looking for a place to spend the offseason since it ends in a month. i am looking for a place with virtually no percipitation in the winter months, where it doesnt get windy so i can throw my longtoss and bullpens without concern to what the weather would be like. where would u recommend between, Los Angeles, San Jose, Tucson, Scottsdale or Miami.

thank you.

One Response to “does it get windy in southern california in the winter?”

There are places in So Cal that the wind blows 40 mph nearly all the time. Other places where wind is pretty rare.
Check out the San Gabriel Valley (Pasadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, etc.). It is well sheltered by the San Gabriel Mountains (Mount Wilson, etc.)
