backyard batting cage
I was at the batting cages with my cousin the other day and as she was going to show me how to hit the ball she hit my arm with the baseball bat.

I didn't cry but it hurt. I don't have a visible bruise but the area is very tender to touch and it hurts to move my arm after I press on the area. should I use the rice method until it isn't tender or painful in anyway anymore.
I'm 15 btw

Put ice on it and keep the area from being touched.

As a rule, Ice the first 24 hours, which means, 20 mins of ice on the effected area per hour. After than, heat will help. If you have full use of the arm, its probably a bruise.

If the problem persists for more than three or four days, call and go see your doctor. Don’t know your age, but Tylenol and Ibuprofen will help with the pain.

Yes use ice,and watch the bruised area, and depends how hard you were hit could have chip the bone so keep a good eye on it.
