backyard batting cage
I will be going to high school next year and I hope to play the sport that I love, baseball. I have played softball in grade school, but it was slow pitch. Do you think I can become a lot better by going to the batting cage? That's what I am worried about when I go out for baseball, about my offense. My defense is awesome, but my offense could use some work as I haven't really played fast pitch baseball.

Going to a batting cage is a great idea.

Its all about timing. A batting cage can help with that.

ok, i am young but i know wut it is like starting it yes it is good to go to batting cage. make sure you keep your eye on the ball.
when the pitcher has his hand up and is about to release the ball take a step to start your motion.

thats all for right now i might add a little more later.

batting cage and play with friends. if you want to make the team you’ll need the work and also it’s good to have a bond with your future teammates. coaches love that.

I played baseball for 13 years, all past fast pitched….and my advice to you is to not have a step towards the pitcher and to minimize your swing….the less moment in your swing the less you have that can go wrong…..a short compaxt swing is always good because you’re less likely to strike out and you’ll put the ball in play a lot more…..and in high school ball anything can happen if you put the ball in play…and hit up the batting cages as much as you can
