Don’t teach her to slap yet. I was the same way wait until she’s about nine or ten. She’ll have more fun and she if she learns it all at once she won’t have room to get better and she’ll get kinda bored with it.

no i dont think your sister is to young because it looks like she learns really quickly so she could catch on really quickly and you shouldn’t worry, try it and she what you reackon after a few weeks and see what you reckon, i think you see that there was nothing to worry about.

Baseball is great, teach her all you can, but you should also teach her how to earn a living. You should both learn to be successful with the stock market for example. You get the account and she watches it with you. After a while she’ll have her own portfolio with your help. Selling on eBay is another example, no reason why she can’t do that with your guidance..

The pitching instruction should be non-pressure and non-competitive at this age. Remember most of these girls will not develop into pitchers but the ones that do will have an advantage of having solid fundamentals taught to them from the beginning.

I think she’s just fine to learn how to slap hit. The earlier you teach her the longer she’ll have to master it. Just take it slow and go easy on her. If she tells you she doesn’t like it, or doesn’t want to learn it right now then just tell her okay and help her on fielding and stuff. Hope this helps.
